On the Third Day

Another Easter piece:

On the Third Day

The white circle at top represents the resurrected Jesus Christ ascending into heaven, leaving the empty tomb behind (represented by the dark circle below). A companion piece to He Is Risen and He Is Not Here.

Nevertheless

And in the same vein as Gethsemane:

Nevertheless

The title is a reference to Matthew 26:39. The triangles represent the Savior, and the golden circle represents divinity and holiness.

Tell Me the Stories of Jesus

Trying out a new riff on my circles-and-triangles style:

Tell Me the Stories of Jesus

This one originally wasn’t going to be a religious piece (it was going to be something about motherhood), but at the last minute it became very clear that Tell Me the Stories of Jesus was what it was supposed to be called.

Gethsemane

Gethsemane

The figure at center represents the Savior in the garden of Gethsemane, and the faint light along the right side of the painting represents the angel about to arrive.

Holiness to the Lord

Another temple piece:

Holiness to the Lord

The bottom triangle represents the temples on Earth, and the top triangle represents heaven reaching down to us.

His Holy House

A new temple piece:

His Holy House

The individual triangles represent people and angels working in the Lord’s house to bring about his work and glory.

Their Work and Glory

A slightly more abstract piece this time:

Their Work and Glory

The two triangles represent Heavenly Father (left) and Heavenly Mother (right), unified and together as they watch over their children on Earth.
