Tree of Life

A depiction of the tree of life from Lehi’s vision. I originally intended for this to be part of my circle series, but the painting wanted to be a little more representational.

Teach Me to Walk in the Light

I’m contributing occasional artwork to the Beesley Project, a yearlong exploration of the LDS hymnbook (doctrinal/lyrical analysis, etc.). This piece accompanied Jen Bosen’s essay.

Chairman of the Bored

I’m pretty sure this is the weirdest illustration I’ve done so far, both in content and in style.

Drawn in Photoshop, presumably under the influence of too little sleep.

Lazy Susan

After a far-too-long hiatus from hand-drawn illustrations, I’m back. This one was fun.

The Morning Breaks: Paper Hymns #001

For a while I’ve wanted to do a series of pieces based on the LDS hymns, because it’s been a long while since my circle series. I’ve also been itching to do some illustrations in Blender with a sort of paper cutout aesthetic.

I ended up deciding to combine them into a single series. The first piece:

Made in Blender, postprocessed in Photoshop.
