A depiction of the tree of life from Lehi’s vision. I originally intended for this to be part of my circle series, but the painting wanted to be a little more representational.
I’m contributing occasional artwork to the Beesley Project, a yearlong exploration of the LDS hymnbook (doctrinal/lyrical analysis, etc.). This piece accompanied Jen Bosen’s essay.
After a long hiatus, the circle series is back (at least for this piece):
I’m pretty sure this is the weirdest illustration I’ve done so far, both in content and in style.
