Blog: #heavenly-mother

I meant to post about this a few weeks ago, but BCC Press has published a print edition of In the Image of Our Heavenly Parents. (The ebook is still available as well.)

I’ve got a new exhibition coming soon! It opens next Friday, February 3, at Writ & Vision in Provo, and runs through Saturday, February 25. The show will feature the twelve illustrations at the head of each chapter of In the Image of Our Heavenly Parents: A Couple’s Guide to Creating a More Divine Marriage (edited by McArthur Krishna and Bethany Brady Spalding).

It’s not up yet on the Writ & Vision gallery page but will be soon.

Edit: here’s the Writ & Vision gallery page.

My friend McArthur and some others made a lovely new video, Mother in Heaven: A Cherished Doctrine. Happy Mother’s Day.

Their Work and Glory

A slightly more abstract piece this time:

Their Work and Glory

The two triangles represent Heavenly Father (left) and Heavenly Mother (right), unified and together as they watch over their children on Earth.

McArthur Krishna interviewed me over at the Seeking Heavenly Mother blog about I Have a Mother There, the painting I did for A Girl’s Guide to Heavenly Mother.

Also, here’s a straight-on view of the painting:

A Girl’s Guide to Heavenly Mother

I’m happy to announce that I have a painting included in a new book: A Girl’s Guide to Heavenly Mother, by McArthur Krishna and Bethany Brady Spalding — they did the lovely Girls Who Choose God series with Deseret Book. Here’s my piece, on the theme that Heavenly Mother helped prepare us for our earthly existence:
