It’s the idea of seeing the actions you take from hour to hour, through the day, as a matter of threading beads onto a string, as if you were making a necklace.
I like this way of thinking, where each imaginary bead feels (at least in my mind) small, doable, self-contained, solid, embodied. Also seems to align well with receiving revelation from the Spirit line upon line (2 Nephi 28:30), bead upon bead.
