Notebook fever

For a long while I was a fan of the Moleskine Cahier, but it no longer has my heart: I’m a Field Notes boy now. They feel much nicer and don’t have those awful detachable pages. I love the light square lines. Mmm.

And this picture totally makes me drool:

(I still use the other Moleskines, though, don’t worry. :))

Aren’t these great? An Australian friend gave me one at a conference in July. He kept notes on all the people he met in his.

Oh. Ohmyword. Not good. Not good for my bank account, at any rate.

Must. Resist.

David: I love them. I absolutely love them. I’ve ordered a bunch more. :)

E: They’re only $10 for three, which isn’t all that bad. They’re worth it. (Sorry, your bank account wanted me to lie and say they weren’t, but I just couldn’t do it. ;))

I came across these:

at a bookstore in Moab this last weekend. I bought a pocket-sized one to test it out. I don’t see them replacing my beloved Cahiers yet, but another option to consider.
