I didn’t hear about George Lucas in Love until this past week, and I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without hearing about it. It’s awesome. (Backstory: when I was a kid, I was a huge Star Wars fan. Read all the novels, even. As I grew up I moved on, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for long ago in a galaxy far, far away.)
Watch it on Google Video or YouTube. (YouTube seemed to have better quality.)

Yeah, I had the same reaction when I first saw it: “How is it that I know bushels of Star Wars trivia but I’ve never run across George Lucas in Love until now?”
I can’t believe you didn’t know about this! I’ve had this on my computer since 2002! It is by far one of the best student-made films I’ve ever seen (we’re talking low-budget projects – not super-computer animated multi-class assignments).
“This is my new pet duck. I named him Howard.”
Correction…it’s not a student film. It was a resume (calling card) from 1999 passed around Hollywood according to Wikipedia.
Haha, my medieval lit professor showed it to the class a couple years ago. I guess she felt we would appreciate it, being fellow nerds and all. It’s genius. Absolute genius.
Katherine: Now that I’ve seen it, I feel like my life is complete, like I have finished what I was born to do. :P
David: Even though it wasn’t a student project, it was still fairly low-budget, and yeah, it’s awesome. :)
Haley: It fits with medieval lit. Wait a sec… :)
