Google’s done it again. The Google Calendar beta is out, and it’s nice. I’ve only spent a few minutes playing around with it but I’m very impressed. In the past, I’ve been mostly a paper-planner sort of person (at least for calendars), since I’d always forget to check my calendar on my computer. But I think this may persuade me to move it online. :) It’s great that they support iCal and XML, too. And being able to say “this day is Mom’s birthday” is very nice as well.
You know, whenever I see someone’s Hotmail or Yahoo e-mail address, I feel compelled to encourage them to switch to Gmail. Still haven’t actually voiced those comments (except with close friends), but I think I may begin. This is a better world. And Hotmail’s ads are way too risque these days…
