So it appears the new design doesn’t quite work in Internet Explorer — the sidebar doesn’t appear until after all the posts. Not good. While I’m figuring out how to fix it, do yourself a favor and download Firefox. Your life will be much happier. Trust me.
If you are using Internet Explorer, by the way, you have bigger problems (i.e., Windows). Switch to a Mac as soon as you possibly can. You won’t regret it. And if you’re on a Mac, I don’t care if you use Firefox, Safari, Camino, Shiira, or whatever. Just not Internet Explorer. :)

Okay, it’s working now. For the record, what I had to do was make the sidebar a “float: right” in CSS, get rid of the margin-left, and then change index.php/archive.php/page.php etc. to get_sidebar() before pulling in the main content. And I had to increase the width of #page. It’s working nicely in both Firefox and IE, thankfully.
