I spent almost eight hours working on Translating Scripture today. It’s nice to have such a big chunk of time, because it would normally take over a week to get this much work done on it. Anyway, I’ve found that I do my best work when I’m up against a tight deadline. It’s then that I go into obsessive-compulsive steamroller mode and can’t stop working till the project is done. :) It’s amazing how much one can get done when in that ultra-focused mode. And so, having realized this, I think I’ll start creating self-imposed deadlines for my other projects so I can get more done. We’ll see how it goes. :)
