So I’m sitting in my Empirical Methods of Research in English Linguistics class and I’ve realized that I can blog in class without being so completely diverted from the class discussion that I can’t answer questions. I love multitasking. :) We’re talking about /t/ flapping right now (“butter,” etc.) and why “militaristic” doesn’t flap the first ‘t’ while “capitalistic” does. Anyway, I’d better get back to class.
