I’m finally caught up on e-mails! My inbox is spic-and-span empty, and it feels great. Of course it won’t last more than a few hours, but it’s nice anyway. :) It took a lot longer than I thought to reply to the 100+ e-mails sitting there. Earlier today I helped clean the church building and while I was mopping the bathroom floors, I couldn’t help but notice how good it felt. I wonder why cleaning things is so satisfying… (I also wonder why I can’t keep my desk or my inbox clean all the time, but instead have to go through cycles and wait until there’s so much stuff I hit crisis mode and have to clean lest things explode. :))
